PROVIDENCE, RI, July 24, 2026 – Partridge Snow & Hahn (PSH), a full-service business law and litigation firm, has launched an AI Task Force to help clients navigate the rapidly evolving legal, operational, and regulatory challenges associated with the widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
The practice launch reflects growing client demand for practical, cross-disciplinary guidance as AI tools become increasingly integrated into everyday business operations. Led by PSH partners Alicia J. Samolis and Brian J. Reilly, the multidisciplinary team includes attorneys from across the firm’s employment, corporate, litigation, and intellectual property practices to provide practical guidance on the use, governance, and oversight of AI technologies.
“As organizations increasingly incorporate AI into their operations, they face a growing range of legal, business, and compliance considerations,” said Samolis and Reilly in a joint statement. “Our goal is to help clients harness the benefits of AI while developing policies, safeguards, and governance frameworks that reduce risk and support long-term business objectives.”
The AI Task Force advises clients on a wide range of issues, including AI use in employment decisions, data privacy and confidentiality, contractual protections for third-party tools, intellectual property ownership and infringement risks, regulatory developments, litigation and privilege concerns, and employee training and internal governance frameworks.
Samolis, Partner and Chair of the firm’s Employment & Labor Practice Group, represents businesses and management in both litigation and compliance matters across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as at the national level. She advises management at all stages of the employment relationship, regularly counseling senior management, human resource professionals and business owners on applicable employment laws and pending legislation. Her expertise includes a broad range of employment issues, such as wage and hour compliance and defense, employment discrimination and harassment issues, employee handbooks, manager trainings, employee leaves of absence, incentivizing employee work, employee use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, compensation systems, noncompetition enforcement and defense, and individual and group terminations.
Reilly concentrates his practice on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and real estate matters. He regularly acts as general outside counsel for clients, addressing their day-to-day business issues. Reilly frequently represents entrepreneurs and investors with respect to formation matters, contract negotiation and drafting, and capital raising matters. He also offers comprehensive, practical advice to clients on matters such as choice of entity and business organization, equity and debt financing, employee incentive compensation plans (equity and non-equity), shareholder/partnership agreements, leasing, licensing, employment, tax, and exit strategies and succession planning.
