PROVIDENCE, RI, October 21, 2025 – Partridge Snow & Hahn (PSH) Partner Christian F. Capizzo will co-chair the program, “What Keeps RIDEM Leadership Up at Night?” at the annual Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC) & Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals (RISEP) Rhode Island Leadership Program on Friday, October 24th.
The program, which features key leadership from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM), will offer a unique, insider perspective on the agency’s priorities, challenges, and evolving strategies. The event will conclude with a dynamic panel discussion, offering attendees the chance to engage with RIDEM leadership on key topics. Registration is available here.
With over 20 years of experience, Capizzo concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental and energy law, land use and public sector/governmental services. He handles a diverse range of complex environmental and energy matters including enforcement, regulatory and compliance issues, renewable energy projects including large scale solar and offshore wind projects, real estate development, environmental remediation including brownfields, coastal/waterfront violations, permitting and waterfront property rights. Capizzo represents clients before the Coastal Resources Management Council, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, the Rhode Island Energy Facility Siting Board, as well as before the zoning boards, planning boards and conservation commissions in towns and municipalities across New England.
Capizzo also represents landowners and project developers in real estate transactions, renewable energy development deals, and financing transactions associated with these projects. He plays an integral role evaluating and mitigating environmental risks relating to development projects and business transactions, as well as providing key strategies for renewable energy projects.
The EBC, a nonprofit organization, was established in 1990 by environmental and energy company executives who began meeting on a regular basis to exchange ideas and share experiences. The EBC was the first organization in the United States established to support and foster the development of the environmental industry. Its goal is to enhance business and job growth of both established and emerging environmental and energy businesses.
