James serves commercial clients across a wide range of industries, providing strategic counsel and representation in high-stakes disputes. He is experienced in both prosecuting and defending complex litigation matters and advising clients on risk mitigation strategies before disputes escalate into formal proceedings.
Jim’s practice focuses on matters involving contract interpretation and enforcement, corporate governance, consumer protection laws, and class action litigation. He is known for his thoughtful, analytical approach to legal challenges and his ability to distill complex legal issues into actionable business advice. Clients value his responsiveness, clarity, and unwavering focus on their business objectives.
Before joining PSH in 2023, Jim practiced at a boutique litigation firm in the Washington, D.C. area, where he represented clients across federal and state courts throughout the country. He previously served as a law clerk to a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, gaining valuable insight into appellate strategy and judicial decision-making.
