Kevin Keenan is an associate in the firm’s Litigation & Disputes Practice Group, where he represents clients in complex civil litigation matters as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
His practice focuses on tort, contract, and business disputes, as well as insurance coverage and property-related litigation. Kevin has experience defending insureds and insurers in high-exposure matters, including products liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims. He manages discovery-intensive cases and contributes across all phases of litigation – from pleadings and motion practice to depositions, expert coordination, and trial preparation.
Kevin’s experience includes handling Chapter 93A claims and advising clients on pre-suit strategy, risk assessment, and efficient resolution. He is known for a practical, detail-oriented approach that supports strong case development and positions matters for favorable outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin practiced at regional litigation firms representing clients across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. In these roles, he developed a broad foundation in civil litigation, including courtroom appearances, mediation preparation, and strategic case management.
Kevin earned his J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law, graduating in the top 25% of his class and receiving a Law Dean’s Achievement Award. During law school, he served as Vice President of the Tax & Business Law Society and gained hands-on experience through clinical work representing clients in criminal defense and small business matters. He also holds degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
Kevin is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
