This dynamic group of newly elevated attorneys represents a cross-section of the firm’s practice areas, including Trusts and Estates, Business Law, Real Estate, Land Use & Environmental, Employment & Labor, and Commercial Lending.
The firm’s new counsel are:
Kristin N. Matsko, resident in the Providence, R.I. office, counsels clients and their families on various aspects of elder law, including special needs planning. She also assists individuals and fiduciaries with all aspects of estate planning, estate settlement and trust administration in Rhode Island and Massachusetts;
Travis J. McDermott, also based in Providence, represents clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes and environmental litigation before state and federal courts. He also litigates related claims and disputes, such as lease and contract disputes and negotiations with regulators, as well as general business litigation;
Matthew L. Mitchell, based in the firm’s Boston office, represents employers in a broad range of employment-related matters, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, wage-hour issues, and family and medical leave. He has successfully defended clients before state and federal courts, state administrative boards and arbitration tribunals;
Lawrence J. Sheh, in the firm’s Boston and Needham offices, serves as outside corporate legal counsel to a broad range of emerging and established companies, including web-based, software, clean energy and medical device companies, on a variety of issues including equity and debt financing, shareholder/partnership agreements, commercial real estate leases and purchases, acquisitions and other exit strategies.
