Gilden, announced that Brad Gandrup, Jr. has joined the firm as Of Counsel.   “We are pleased to welcome such a highly-skilled and well-respected attorney to the firm.” Mr. Gandrup, concentrating his practice in admiralty and maritime law, is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

With more than 20 years experience, Mr. Gandrup provides advice to owners, charterers, insurers and lenders. Mr. Gandrup’s litigation practice emphasizes traditional areas of admiralty.  He has represented a wide variety of shipping interests in maritime litigation and arbitration, as well as oil, technology and insurance companies in complex commercial, environmental and insurance litigation.  He has substantial experience in the defense of malpractice claims against marine classification societies. Mr. Gandrup received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.  He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, Louisiana and numerous federal courts including the United States Supreme Court.
