Lawrence D. Hunt

Areas of Practice:

Larry counsels clients in developing estate plans which protect them and their loved ones through the use of sophisticated planning techniques.  He has extensive experience in a range of tax and estate planning issues, including planning for business owners and entrepreneurs, and for married, unmarried and same-sex couples.  He works with clients to insure that their personal planning goals are met while maintaining effective wealth preservation and minimization of federal and state income, estate and gift taxes.  Larry’s counsels his clients on communicating their wishes to their children and families, often participating in family discussions.

Larry represents fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates.  He oversees preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns, represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and handles a wide range of probate matters including administration of estates and guardianships in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

A native Rhode Islander who now resides in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts with his wife and children, Larry serves clients throughout Rhode Island and SouthCoast.
