Ms. Burke is a member of the Construction and Corporate groups.  She focuses her practice in the construction business representing owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors in areas including payment and performance issues, mechanics’ liens, contract drafting and negotiating, personal injuries, bid protest claims, scope of work, insurance defense, and insurance coverage.   She advises clients on business formation, debt collection and buy/sell agreements as well as advising clients in the area intellectual property law. She works with individuals and businesses in prosecuting and protecting trademarks and copyrights.   Her trademark practice includes various issues of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and federal brand protection, including the selection of marks, prosecution of trademark applications, maintenance of registered trademarks, and resolution of Internet disputes.
