Ms. Ryan applies her extensive knowledge of probate, trust, and tax laws to advise clients on a wide variety of wealth preservation, asset transfer, and charitable giving issues. She provides counsel on business succession planning matters for family-owned and closely-held businesses.

Ms. Ryan also represents executors, guardians and trustees with respect to the administration of decedents’ estates, guardianships, and trusts.  She works with attorneys in the Firm’s Litigation Group representing fiduciaries in probate and trust court proceedings involving fiduciary liability issues, trust reformation, will contests, petitions for minimization of taxes and other general trust/estate administration matters.

 

Ms. Ryan is a Mentor in the Firm’s Mentoring Program and co-founded and assists with the administration of WAVE (Women AdVocates for Enterprise), a Firm initiative designed to help women in business advance professionally.  She is a frequent speaker on various trusts and estates topics directed to banking professionals, financial planners, business groups, and civic and charitable organizations.
