Mr. Gamboli represents management in all areas of employment law and related litigation. Chambers USA - America’s Leading Lawyers for Business has consistently recognized Mr. Gamboli as a leading management-side employment attorney and litigator.
Mr. Gamboli advises clients on the potential impact of employment decisions involving employment inquiries, leaves of absence, discipline, potential discrimination and termination. In addition to having over 15 years’ experience litigating general business disputes, he has significant experience defending employment discrimination and related claims in Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts, and before state and federal administrative agencies such as the RICHR, MCAD and EEOC. Mr. Gamboli also has significant experience in the negotiation, drafting and implementation of employment contracts, policies, handbooks and separation agreements, and has defended and prosecuted numerous lawsuits concerning non-competition agreements and trade secrets.
Mr. Gamboli received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and his B.S. from Bucknell University. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Mr. Gamboli is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Providence YMCA, Special Olympics Rhode Island, the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. He is on the Human Resources Advisory Committee for both the Hockomock Area YMCA and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, is a Corporation Member of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, is past Chairman of the Regional Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation, and is a past Board Member of the Rhode Island Sports Council and the Rhode Island Center for Performance Excellence.

Won a precedent setting R.I. Supreme Court case for national jewelry and fine goods corporation establishing that employee manuals including discretionary amendment provisions do not create contractual rights (2006).
Obtained federal court summary judgment for worldwide crystal manufacturer against retailer on antitrust, breach of contract and fraud claims (2006).
Won federal court trial for state’s dominant workers’ compensation insurance carrier against national competitor on claims of trademark infringement, establishing new precedent on issue of harm in intellectual property infringement actions (2005).
Won Rhode Island Supreme Court decision dismissing disability discrimination claims against national retail chain by former employee (2005).
