The Litigation Group has extensive experience in the representation of a broad range of clients before the state and federal courts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and numerous other states, as well as local, state and federal administrative agencies. Additionally, our litigators are experienced in arbitration matters and alternative dispute resolution as well as representation of clients before state commissions and local boards. We regularly represent publicly and privately held businesses, financial institutions, colleges and universities, hospitals, insurance companies, and governmental agencies. Our "litigation" services include counsel designed to avoid litigation, to prepare for litigation, to expeditiously resolve litigation where appropriate, and to try cases in court. We counsel clients on, and litigate contractual and commercial issues, including environmental, real estate, land use, labor and employment, construction, anti-trust, unfair trade practice, admiralty and maritime law, banking, intellectual property and securities matters among others.
