Three New Partners Elected to Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP.

Managing Partner, David M. Gilden, announced today that Norman A. Peloquin, II, Theodore B. Howell and Lawrence D. Hunt have become Partners of the Firm. “We are very pleased to have Norm, Ted and Larry join the partnership. They are three well-respected attorneys who bring excellent skills to three different practice areas.”

Mr. Peloquin concentrates his practice in admiralty and maritime law and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. With more than 20 years experience as a business and civil trial attorney, he counsels clients in marine and marine-related commercial and corporate transactions involving the “brown water” and “blue water” trades. He provides advice to owners, charterers, insurers and lenders. Mr. Peloquin’s litigation practice emphasizes traditional areas of admiralty law. He received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.

Mr. Howell is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group and concentrates his practice in contract negotiation, business formation, equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, employment and consulting arrangements, buy/sell arrangements and business succession, technology transfer and licensing, bank regulatory and commercial borrowing and lending. Recently, Mr. Howell organized an internal group focused on providing effective legal advice to entrepreneurs. Mr. Howell was named a “Rising Star” in the Business/Corporate practice area by Rhode Island Super Lawyers. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Hunt provides personal planning and tax counsel to clients who may benefit from sophisticated planning techniques as a member of the Probate, Trust & Personal Planning Group. He has extensive experience in a range of tax and estate planning issues, including planning for business owners and entrepreneurs, and for married, unmarried and same-sex couples. Mr. Hunt represents fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates. He oversees preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns, represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and handles a wide range of probate matters including administration of estates and guardianships in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. In addition, as the firm’s Sustainability Officer, Mr. Hunt heads our GreenMatters™ program. He was named a “Rising Star” by Rhode Island Super Lawyers. Mr. Hunt received his LL.M. from Boston University School of Law and his M.S.E.L. and J.D. from Vermont Law School.
