Businesses throughout the state were surveyed and judged on their responses to an extensive management report as well as an employee survey conducted by Best Companies, an independent research organization based in Harrisburg, PA. The results were analyzed and categorized according to 8 core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Satisfaction.
