November 2, 2007 - Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP achieved a “recommended” ranking in the Rhode Island section of Benchmark: Litigation, a guide to America’s leading business litigation firms and attorneys. Steven E. Snow, partner, was recognized as a Local Litigation Star for his experience in areas including antitrust, banking, constitutional issues, corporate/commercial, healthcare and intellectual property matters. This designation is reserved for only those attorneys who were recommended consistently by clients and peers. Howard Merten, partner was recognized for recent victories representing the RI ACLU which resulted in changes to the campaign finance statute.

In its inaugural edition, Benchmark conducted extensive face-to-face and telephone interviews with the country’s leading private practice attorneys and in-house counsel. Instead of focusing on practice area specialists, Benchmark concentrated its efforts on the best all-around trial attorneys. The interviews took place between October 2006 and May 2007.
