Ms. Cervenka concentrates her practice on environmental and insurance law. She advises and represents clients on environmental compliance, permitting, litigation, and administrative enforcement matters, on environmental liabilities associated with real estate transfers, and on land use planning and development. She also counsels insurance companies on regulatory compliance matters and represents them in litigation and coverage disputes.

Ms. Cervenka is admitted to practice before Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Hawaii state and federal courts, and Connecticut federal court. Ms. Cervenka has a LL.M. in International Legal Studies in Environment and Business from American University, Washington College of Law. While earning her LL.M., she clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Ms. Cervenka earned her J.D. from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law, where she received regional and international awards as a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ms. Cervenka is actively involved in civic and charitable activities. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors on the East Greenwich Planning Board, as a Trustee for East Greenwich Land Trust and is on the legal committee for Save the Bay. She has written over a dozen articles on environmental issues for both regional and national publications and regularly participates in judging for both the Philip C. Jessup International Law and National Environmental Law Moot Court competitions.
