USFN - America's Mortgage Banking Attorneys Installs Brian J. Spero as President.
Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP partner Brian J. Spero
was recently installed to a two-year term as President of the USFN –
America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys. The USFN is a national non-profit
association of law firms and trustee companies that represent mortgage
lenders in each of the 50 states. Membership in the USFN is strictly
limited to only those attorneys meeting high qualifications and
standards in representing national mortgage lenders in their
foreclosure, bankruptcy and related creditors' rights matters.
Currently, the USFN has 97 member law firms representing over 1500
attorneys, as well as 3 trustee member firms, and 45 associate member
firms. Partridge Snow & Hahn is a founding member of the USFN for
Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Mr. Spero is a member of Partridge Snow & Hahn’s executive
management committee and co-chair of the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights
Practice Group. He has over 20 years of experience in providing counsel
to financial institutions and mortgage lenders with respect to
commercial workouts, foreclosures, bankruptcies and litigation; and
represents a large number of regional and national creditors, lending
institutions, banks and mortgage companies. Mr. Spero has lectured and
written extensively on creditors’ rights issues and has served on
commercial default servicing panels for the Mortgage Bankers
Association America. He is a member of the Rhode Island and
Massachusetts Bar Associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Mr. Spero received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Colgate University.
