Ms. Lewis focuses her practice in the area of real estate.
She advises real estate owners and developers with regard to site acquisition, due diligence, title, land use, subdivision and zoning. Chambers USA - America’s Leading Lawyers for Business has recognized Ms. Lewis as “one to watch” in the Real Estate area.
As Sustainability Officer of the firm Ms. Lewis heads the GreenMatters™ program where she is responsible to provide regular communications to and educate all stakeholders on the business and environmental benefits of supporting sustainability at the Firm. This includes the development of sustainable business practices and "green" practices, such as energy and materials reduction strategies. She is also responsible to communicate to and counsel our clients on how sustainability issues affect their businesses.
Ms. Lewis is admitted to practice in Rhode Island,
Massachusetts, Florida and before the District Court for the Middle
District of Florida and is a member of the Boston, Florida, Rhode
Island and Rhode Island Women's Bar Associations. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson
University College of Law where she was a member of the Stetson University Law Review
and a recipient of the Judge Alexander L. Paskay Award. She received
her B.A. from the University of the South. Additionally, Ms. Lewis is
the Assistant Secretary of The Pawtucket Foundation, Secretary of The Junior League of Rhode Island and a Corporation Member of Memorial Hospital.
Prior to joining Partridge Snow & Hahn LLP, Ms. Lewis
served as a judicial clerk for the Chief Judge of the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.
