Mr. Lovell represents creditors in litigation, bankruptcy and state court receivership matters, and defends lenders in class action, TILA and HOEPA complaints. He is the Chair of the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights Practice Group and advises lending institutions, banks and mortgage companies on creditors’ rights matters and works with these institutions to enforce their rights under Rhode Island and Massachusetts law. Mr. Lovell also represents lenders in the workout and collection of non-performing commercial loans.

The Firm is a founding member of the USFN – America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys, for both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The USFN is a nationwide organization of independent law firms which provide foreclosure, bankruptcy and related services to mortgage lenders. Mr. Lovell is a frequent lecturer on creditors’ rights at USFN and other industry events.
